מותג הנעליים של גלית גרטנבנק נולד כהמשך לבית סבה שבפולין של לפני מלחה"ע השנייה. סבה וחמשת אחיו עסקו בסנדלרות, התמחותם הייתה מגפי עור לקצינים, אנשי צבא וכו'.
על כן, השם הגרמני עם כל ההיסטוריה והידע שטמון בחובו.

התפיסה העיצובית של המותג מושפעת בעיקר מנאמנות לחומר, ניקיון ופשטות.
שימוש בעורות רכים וסוליות עור.
הנעליים מיוצרות בבית מלאכה קטן בעבודת יד ובאהבה רבה.

Galit Gartenbank's shoe brand was born as a continuation of the grandparents' house of Poland before WWII. 

Her grandfather and his five brothers were engaged in shoemaking, their specialty was leather boots for military officers and personnel therefore, the German name with all the history and knowledge inherent in it.

The brand's design concept is mainly influenced by loyalty to material, cleanliness, and simplicity. Use of soft skins and leather soles. The shoes are made in a small workshop, handmade, and much-loved .
